PRAKTIK BAGI HASIL TERNAK KAMBING PERSPEKTIF HUKUM ISLAM

This study aims to analyze the profit-sharing practice of goat farming from the perspective of Islamic law using the maqasid al-shariah approach. The research employs a qualitative library method by examining the Qur’an, hadith, and classical as well as contemporary Islamic jurisprudence literature. The findings indicate that profit-sharing practices in goat farming reflect the principle of justice (hifz al-mal) through proportional distribution of profit and risk. Furthermore, this practice embodies the value of cooperation (ta’awun), contributing to social welfare (hifz al-nafs) and generational sustainability (hifz al-nasl). Ethically, values such as honesty, trustworthiness, and responsibility reinforce the spiritual dimension (hifz al-din) in economic activities. In the modern context, this practice remains relevant when supported by professional management, transparency, and Islamic financial institutions. Therefore, goat farming profit-sharing contributes to public welfare (maslahah ‘ammah) and represents a just and sustainable Islamic economic model.
