TINJAUAN HUKUM ISLAM TERHADAP PEMBULATAN TIMBANGAN PADA USAHA JASA LAUNDRY (Studi Kasus Di Kecamatan Magetan Kabupaten Magetan)

Abstract

This study aims to assess the compliance of the practice of rounding off weights in laundry businesses in Magetan District with the principles of ijarah contracts in Islamic law and its impact on fairness and consumer satisfaction. Empirical jurisprudence is used to examine the effectiveness of community law by integrating written legal norms. The results indicate that most transactions meet the pillars and requirements of ijarah, with legally competent parties and clear objectives. The majority of businesses also comply with Islamic jurisprudence, although there are several cases of unilateral weighing. However, in general, agreement and satisfaction are maintained without harming consumers. This study is expected to provide recommendations for businesses to implement a fairer and sharia-compliant system.
